This Traditional 15 Lite Knotty Pine Obscured Glazed Door is beautifully rustic, perfect for cottages and period houses in order to add a classic and authentic finish. The unpainted pine door can be finished however you choose, great for matching to your décor. The stunning glazing will open up your room, letting light inside to make the space feel bigger.

The glass in our glazed doors is Grade A toughened safety glass, meaning that if it should break it will shatter rather than break into dangerous shards.

Measuring Guides

Follow these steps to be able to quickly and accurately measure your doorway to make sure you get doors that fit your space perfectly.

1. Measure the width of the doorway (A)

Take this measurement in three places:

  • Once towards the very top.
  • Once in the middle.
  • Once just above floor level.

There may be a slight variation in the width between the top and bottom of the frame – if this is the case then use the shortest measurement.

 

2. Measure the height of the doorway (B)

Again, you should do this three times:

  • On the left.
  • In the centre.
  • On the right.

There is usually a small difference in the frame, particularly in older houses, and you need to make sure your door fits the smallest space.

Note: if there is a big difference in any one set of measurements (width or height) you may need to replace or realign the door frame before installing your doors.

 

3. Take both measurements again

It is important that these measurements are accurate, so take them twice just to be sure. 

Being meticulous with your measurements might feel time-consuming when your taking them but it is worth it! It is far more hassle to discover your doors don’t fit half-way through hanging them, and far more expensive too if you’re no longer able to return or exchange them.

 

4. Find the right size

Check the size dropdowns on all our doors to see what sizes are available.

We have 11mm lipping's on all our doors allowing for up to 7mm to be taken off from each side and 25mm from the bottom on installation, ensuring a perfect fit for all frames.

My current door is 1970 x760mm, can this 15 pane pine door be cut to fit?
Hi, Yes you can buy a 1981 x 762mm and trim this down to 1970 x 760mm. You can trim up to 7mm from each side of the door and up to 25mm from the bottom of the door.
